FRAGILE

An upcycled couture dress displayed on a sleek chrome hanging rail, the only piece in view, capturing the essence of a graduate collection titled “FRAGILE.” The garment is assembled from deconstructed tailored jackets and discarded lace curtains, reimagined into a sculptural silhouette with asymmetrical pleats, raw selvedge edges, and meticulously hand-stitched appliqués. デザイナーについて

五十嵐綾｜上田安子服飾専門学校　卒業制作「FRAGILE」デザイナー。甘さと強さが同時に存在する在り方をテーマに、ヴィンテージレースドレスをベースとした一点物の再構築ドレスを制作しました。古着の単なるリメイクではなく、デニム、レザー、ニット、スカーフなど異素材同士の対話を通じて、シルエットそのものを組み替えることで新しい価値観を提示することを目指しています。可愛いだけでは物足りない人へ、女性らしさと内に秘めた力が共存するファッション表現を探究しています。

作品コンセプト
A tight, detailed garment shot of a fragile, one-of-a-kind bodice laid flat on a matte black tabletop, revealing every nuance of its construction. The bodice combines translucent mesh, iridescent foil fragments, and delicate hand-ruched satin panels, intersected by fine topstitching and tiny, almost invisible hook closures. Around it lie blurred tools of the process: pattern pieces, tailor’s chalk, and a softly coiled measuring tape. Gentle side lighting from an unseen window rakes across the surface, emphasizing texture and micro-shadows within the seams. The composition is overhead, creating a clean, graphic layout with sharp focus on the central piece and a gradually softening vignette toward the edges. The mood is analytical yet poetic, in photographic realism that highlights craftsmanship and the intricate fragility of the fashion artwork.
