ここで語られるのは、単なる制作メモではなく、「壊れやすさ」を抱えた人が、それでも自分らしく立つための新しい美の基準についての小さな宣言です。ドレスの細部を見る前に、その奥に流れるストーリーと視点を共有することで、卒業制作としてのFRAGILEを、より立体的に感じていただける構成になっています。

FRAGILEについて

FRAGILEは、ただ「可愛い」だけでは満足できない自分のためのドレスです。ベースとなるヴィンテージのフラワーレースドレスに、デニム、レザー、ニット、スカーフといった異素材を縫い合わせるのではなく、いったん意味ごとほどき、再構築することで、「甘さ」と「強さ」が同時に存在する新しいシルエットを生み出しました。

レースの繊細さは、そのまま「壊れやすさ」を象徴します。一方で、デニムやレザーのラフさや硬さは、日々の現実を生き抜く身体の「芯の強さ」を表します。FRAGILEは、その相反する質感の対話によって、守られるべきか、戦うべきかという二項対立を超え、「壊れやすさを抱えたまま強く立つ」という第三の在り方を提示します。

廃棄されるはずだった一着に、約3〜4週間をかけて手を入れ、サイズMの一点物として完成させたこのドレスは、二度と同じものを作らないことを前提とした「作品」です。ヴィンテージリメイクや古着販売ではなく、服を媒体にしたコンセプトの提示であり、「アップサイクル」という行為自体を、現代における価値観の再編集として捉えています。

上田安子服飾専門学校での卒業制作として、ショーおよび展示空間での見え方も意識し、歩いたときに現れるレースとデニムのコントラスト、照明を受けたときに浮かび上がる素材の陰影まで、すべてが「甘さと強さの共存」というテーマに接続するよう設計しています。FRAGILEは、服を着る人自身が持つ矛盾や揺らぎを否定せず、そのままひとつのスタイルとして肯定するためのデザインステートメントです。

コンセプト

ビジュアルディレクション

FRAGILEのビジュアルディレクションは、「fragile＝壊れやすい」という言葉から想起される白く淡い世界だけに留まりません。ムードボードには、退色した花柄カーテンや、ひび割れた陶器、擦り切れたデニムの端、夜の街灯に濡れるアスファルトなど、柔らかさと傷跡が同時に存在するイメージを集めました。

カラーパレットは、ヴィンテージレースのアイボリーと、インディゴデニム、黒のレザーを軸に、差し色としてスカーフの柄が持つ多色性をそのまま活かしています。甘さを象徴するレース部分は光を多く受ける位置に、強さを象徴するレザーやデニムは影になりやすい位置に配置し、ライティングによって「内側の強さが浮かび上がる」構図になるよう設計しています。

シルエット面では、ウエストマークやフリルといったフェミニンな要素に対し、カットラインは直線的でシャープに。フロントとバック、静止時と歩行時で印象が変化するよう、アシンメトリーな分量配分を行っています。これらの要素を視覚的に整理したダイアグラムや、素材ごとのキーワード（delicate／bold、past／now、soft／tough）を並置することで、作品の意図が一目で伝わるようなクリエイティブガイドとしてまとめています。
