FRAGILE

ヴィンテージの花柄レースドレスを土台に、デニムやレザー、ニット、スカーフを重ね直し、甘さと強さが同時に立ち上がる一着として再構築した卒業制作です。可愛いだけでも、ハードなだけでもない、相反する要素の共存をシルエットと素材の対話でかたちにしました。

コンセプトへ
A one-of-a-kind couture dress titled “FRAGILE,” meticulously arranged on a minimalist mannequin with no visible head or limbs, emphasizing the garment as pure object. The dress is constructed from sheer organza, cracked pearl vinyl, and delicately frayed silk ribbons, in a restrained palette of porcelain white and muted ash gray. It stands in an all-white gallery space with polished concrete floors and a distant, softly blurred plinth. Cool, diffused studio lighting wraps the garment, revealing intricate seams and translucent layers, casting faint, refined shadows. Shot at eye level with a centered composition and shallow depth of field, the mood is sophisticated, quiet, and contemplative, in crisp photographic realism that foregrounds the fashion as artwork.

About the Work

FRAGILEは、古着の販売やカスタムではなく、一着のヴィンテージドレスを解体・再構成し、新しい意味を宿らせるためのデザインプロジェクトです。繊細なレースの女性らしさに、デニムやフェイクレザーの力強さを組み合わせることで、「守られるだけではないフェミニニティ」という価値観を視覚化しています。サイズはM、展示用の一点物として制作しました。

The Process

ヴィンテージの花柄レースドレスを選定し、約3〜4週間かけて解体、パターンの引き直し、デニム・フェイクレザー・ニット・スカーフの配置計画を行いました。単に貼り合わせるのではなく、ボリュームバランスや切り替え線を設計し直すことで、新しいシルエットと視線の流れを生み出しています。制作の過程はトワル写真やディテール写真とともに記録し、アップサイクルを「作り替える行為」から「価値観を更新する行為」へと拡張する試みとしました。
